A movement therapist and performing artist with Global exposure and two decades of experience in the field of performance, workshops and wellbeing techniques. Her forte is embracing people of all ages and leaving a simple thought on effective movement. She is a founding trustee of Living earth trust. She has experience working in prison environments, juvenile homes, old age homes, orphanages, educational institutions, corporate environments, autism spectrum and focussed groups from all sections of society. She enjoys working with animals that help her heal in the process.

Sanjana Goutham
Program Coordinator
Sanjana Goutham is a mental health researcher and practitioner from India, with a strong focus in cross-cultural psychiatry and her advocacy for the democratization of mental health tools and services in developing nations. Currently associated with Warwick Medical School, she is actively engaged in global mental health initiatives aimed at improving access and outcomes worldwide.
With over four years of experience at the Schizophrenia Research Foundation (SCARF), Sanjana has made significant contributions to mental health care for youth across diverse settings. Her independent research delves into critical areas such as sexual and gender minority health, loneliness, and psycho-oncology. Additionally, her collaboration and publication with the World Health Organisation (WHO) has been instrumental in documenting and promoting innovative community mental health practices across 11 countries in South East Asia.
Sanjana holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Counselling and Family Therapy. She has further enriched her expertise through the South Asian Diploma in Narrative Practices, and specialized training in Global Mental Health Research at McGill University (2023) and Leadership in Mental Health at Sangath (2019).
In her personal time, Sanjana enjoys connecting with family and friends, indulging in reading, and dancing to her favorite music.
